Edington to serve as Arkadelphia Rotary Club guest speaker, March 14, 2014

The Arkadelphia Rotary Club will meet Friday, March 14, 2014, at Western Sizzlin, 106 WP Malone Drive, for its weekly meeting. Mr. Erik Edington has been invited to serve as guest speaker and will talk about the Boys & Girls Club of Clark County. Rotarians and guests are invited to attend. ERIK EDINGTON was born August 24, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His family moved to Arkadelphia when he was two, and he has lived in the city since then. Erik attended school in the Arkadelphia School District. He earned an associate's degree from Ouachita Technical College and a B.S.E. from Henderson State University. While in college, Erik worked for Clark County Adult Education and Primetime. After university graduation, Erik started working for the Arkadelphia High School and later transferred to the Boys & Girls Club of Clark County where he has been for over two years.

He has three children -- Austin, Payton, and Breanna -- and three brothers. Erik is passionate about family, education, Christ, and golf. He believes that after school programs and summer enrichment help all students and especially those that need it most.
