Gregory to serve as Arkadelphia Rotary guest speaker, May 30

The Arkadelphia Rotary Club will meet Friday, May 30, 2014, at Western Sizzlin, 106 WP Malone Drive, for its weekly meeting. Ms. Brooke Gregory has been invited to serve as guest speaker and will provide information about the Clark County Farmers' Market. Rotarians and guests are invited to attend. For more information on the guest speaker, please read her brief biography below. 
BROOKE GREGORY is a graduate of Henderson State University with a degree in business management. She is employed as a community development officer for Southern Bancorp Community Partners (the non-profit affiliate of Southern Bancorp Bank).  Previously she served in the role of internal auditor for Southern Bancorp Bank. In her role as Community Development Officer, Gregory is responsible for carrying out the goals of the Clark County Strategic Plan. Through this plan, she has worked with the community on many successful projects including: Boys & Girls Club of Clark County, Clark County Farmers’ Market, Arkansas Downtown Network for the City of Arkadelphia, Iron Mountain Hiking Trail, Southwest Arkansas College Preparatory Academy, Arkadelphia Promise Scholarship, Arkadelphia Arts Mural Project, Battle of the Ravine Rally Festival, DeGray Sunset Trail, Ouachita River Bluff Trail and Historical Interpretative Signage, Façade Improvement Program for Small Businesses, Clark County Community Mini-Grant Program, and the County-wide ½ Cent Economic Development Sales Tax passage. Gregory resides in Arkadelphia and is active in the community, currently serving as president-elect of the Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as a board member for the Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance, Clark County Farmers’ Market, and Downtown Arkadelphia Network. In addition, she is still involved with her university alma mater as chapter advisor for Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

Used to attribute a statement or opinion to its author, rather than the speaker. Nevertheless, he was described as an excellent teacher and eloquent speaker.
