The Arkadelphia Rotary Club will meet Friday, May 23, 2014, at Western Sizzlin, 106 WP Malone Drive, for its weekly meeting. The club has invited fellow Rotarian Jerry Simmons, president of Twin Rivers Architecture, and Mark Overturf, architect and firm partner, to speak about their company and its services. Rotarians and guests are invited to attend. For more information on the guest speakers, please read their brief biographies below.
JERRY SIMMONS, President of Twin Rivers Architecture, P.A., earned his bachelor of architecture degree from Mississippi State University in 1987 and has been engaged in the practice of architecture since that time. Simmons has over 25 years experience in the field of architecture, with design experience covering all facets of architecture from educational work to recreation and religious. Simmons has the ability to assess the program along with the available site and generate very efficient and great looking designs. He is a positive thinker and knows that great design only comes after careful consideration of all the elements involved. Simmons resides in the Manchester Community of Clark County with his wife, Kristy, with whom he has four children. He is a member of the Arkadelphia Rotary Club.

MARK OVERTURF earned his bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1994. His major interests were historic restorations and exterior. Mark began his career with Twin Rivers Architecture, P.A. in June of 1994 by working as an intern, involving himself in all aspects of the architecture profession. Mark became licensed in the State of Arkansas in April of 2002 and is now a partner in the firm. Mark remains dedicated to the client/architect relationship and feels that connection is an essential one. Mark lives in downtown Arkadelphia with his wife, Ginger, and their three children. He is active in community affairs by serving at his local church, the Arkadelphia Lions Club, and the Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce.
